At Cornerstone, one of our core values is Pursuing Health Together. We are a community of broken people loved Jesus loving broken people who are loved by Jesus.

Sometimes, it’s helpful to meet with someone who has invested in training and intentional preparation to help you impact the experiences which are holding you back from the abundant life Jesus described in John 10:10.

Our lead pastor, Scott Savage, has been very transparent about his own journey with mental health (especially anxiety) and counseling. In the midst of the challenges of 2020, he convened a panel of experts to talk about why counseling and mental health has been an unspoken topic in the church.

This page includes a brief list of counselors our pastoral staff has spent time with and recommend to you if you’re considering beginning counseling.

There can be a significant cost associated with counseling. If that cost is a barrier to you, please connect with one of these counselors and have an initial session. Then, after meeting with them for the first time and determining if they are a good fit for you, contact the church office to apply for a scholarship. Limited scholarship funds are available to regular attenders and members of Cornerstone.

Pastor Scott has also written an article on the 7 things you need to know before you show up for your first session.
