JENNIFER MYERS
CHILDREN’S DIRECTOR
Jennifer Myers was born in Mississippi but has spent most of her life as an Arizona girl. She went to Grand Canyon University and majored in Elementary Education with an emphasis in Psychology. Life has thrown her some difficult challenges and because of this she has cultivated a strong hunger and thirst for God’s Word. Her favorite time of the day is early in the morning with her coffee, her Jesus and her Bible.
Steve and Jennifer have been married over 30 years. They have three adult children and a growing number of grand babies that she is over the moon about!
How long have you been on staff at Cornerstone? 11 years. I started out in the office helping the Pastors and moved on to my love… working with the children and their families.
If the staff is having lunch and you’re picking, where are you going?
Arturos Mexican food. I could eat Mexican food 3 meals a day, 365 days a year.
If we had to find you on your day off, where would you be and what would be doing?
I will be hitting the hiking trails with friends. If I have a few days off my favorite thing to do is go camping with my family.
If you could take a day trip from Prescott, where would you go and what would you do?
My favorite day trips are up North to Williams or Flagstaff with Steve driving around looking for wildlife (or scouting if someone has a hunting tag in our family) and of course, eating Mexican food.
Favorite time of year in Prescott? Why?
My favorite time of the year in Prescott is summer. I love to garden with Steve and can vegetables and salsa. Most summer evenings we are outside on our porch enjoying the beautiful scenery and the beautiful Prescott weather.
