At Cornerstone, we’ve created a place where students can explore their faith and develop meaningful relationships with others. No matter where you are at in your faith journey, there is a place for you here!

WHAT TO EXPECT

Students (grade 6-12) meet every Wednesday night from 6:30-8:00pm at out Rosser Campus (700 Rosser St.).

Our mission is simple: Love God. Love People. Enjoy the ride.

Because this is our goal, you can expect:

Biblical Teaching: The Bible is the most amazing book ever written and points us to the greatest Hero of all time, Jesus. Our goal is to point students toward Him and His great love for us. After discovering how much He loves us, our hope is that students will respond to that love in faith, ultimately loving Him and loving others the way we were created to.

Meaningful Worship: School, homework, friends, family, work, sports, relationships…It’s easy to live stressed out and anxious about life. Worship helps us refocus our minds and hearts off of the complexity of life and onto the simplicity of Jesus.

Small groups: Relationships are important to Jesus, so they are important to us. After the teaching, students break up into small groups according to their gender and grade for deeper discussion. Small groups help students build relationships with peers and adults. As these relationships form and strengthen, students gain the support and confidence needed to grow in their faith.

Fun: Who doesn’t like to have fun?! We intentionally spend time each Wednesday playing games that make us smile and laugh. Smiles often times lead to conversations and laughing together helps build connections with people we believe we have little in common with. Having fun together reminds us to enjoy the ride that He has us on, regardless of our circumstances.

OTHER DETAILS

For the safety of the students, all our volunteers and leaders are screened, background-checked, and receive training on an ongoing basis.
